This is a JVC RC-555JW Portable Radio and Cassette Boombox. This boombox is being sold for "PARTS OR REPAIR." Below is what I know about the boombox. The "FUNCTION" selector knob is broken off' (Picture #5). The tip of the antenna is broken off, but the antenna is straight (Picture #8). The Battery, VU and FM Stereo LED lights work. I could not validate the Record LED light (Picture #2). All tape buttons are stiff/stuck. When I press REWIND, it rewind the tape, BUT the REWIND button was stuck in that position. I had to hit multiple buttons to get it unstuck. I was not able to push the Play button down. Radio works. Both speakers work. Battery compartment is free of corrosion (Picture #10) There are obviously some wear / scratches on the unit. I have no idea what the inside looks like. I describe my items as accurately as I can. Please take a look at the photos carefully for the cosmetic condition. What you see is what you will get. Nothing else comes with it. Since this is vintage equipment, it is being sold "AS IS." We got a new GE microwave that had a tiny dent on the front surface that is hardly noticeable. Since it was a new microwave they sent a new door. The door is fully functional, so instead of replacing your whole microwave if the door is broken, just replace the door!...
