We are seeking a highly-skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Help Desk Analyst to join our team.
As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and customer service to end-users.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

The Position:
Full-time position focused on help desk, fieldwork, and small projects.
This position involves a mix of work-from-home help desk and on-site service calls to customers throughout the Bay Area (primarily the East Bay).
Must have a dedicated and quiet space to work from home in with room for a laptop and accessories.
Must have a current California Driver's license and clean driving record.
Must have a well-maintained and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
Must have current auto insurance to travel to and from on-site service calls.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

Education and
Experience:
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job's essential duties as listed above.
Education:
Have possession of a high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma (GED).
Experience (3-10 years):
PC & Mac hardware repair PC, Mac, iOS, & android troubleshooting and setup Encryption (Windows, Symantec, BitDefender or similar) Enterprise/Business AntiVirus (Symantec, BitDefender, Sophos, SentinelOne, or similar) Microsoft 365 (setting up new, migrating, setup 2FA) Networking (Sonicwall, Ubiquiti, etc.
) setup and troubleshooting Basic Understanding of DHCP, DNS, IPV4 vs IPv6, Wi-Fi Ticketing system (Connectwise, Altera, Solarwinds, Syncro, Ninja, Datto, Kaseya, or similar) Backup (Veeam, Acronis, N-Able, Datto, MSP360, Barracuda, Carbonite, Backblaze or similar) Scripting (Batch, Powershell, HTML, CSS, or similar) Troubleshooting POP, IMAP, Exchange in Outlook Duties:
Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk.
Quote, schedule, and execute small projects for clients.
On-site service calls.
Occasional on-call emergency support.
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service; communication skills; detail-oriented; punctual.
Able to provide flexibility in work schedule with the ability to perform overtime work if requested.
Work Environment:
Work is performed indoors and outdoors using a computer and other office equipment, traveling to client sites, working alone, working around others, and sitting for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand, kneel for long periods and work in tight spaces.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
